October 3, 2008my guy friend said something astoundingly accurate today as we were discussing relationships in today’s age:
“i think society became too fast paced for casual dating. its either casual f***ing, or marriage nowadays.”
and though i hate to think of it as true, i can’t help but accept the facts. more and more the people around me are getting hitched, getting engaged, or finding “the one.” no more testing the water with more than 3 dates; apparently that’s just wasting time. dating for dating’s sake has gone out the window. i guess that means i’m SOL!

I think that is very true!
but why is that? when did the world become too fast-moving for slow relationships?
